I am not a big fan of the words “never,” “always,” everyone,” or “no one.” They don’t leave any wiggle room for an exception to the rule.
And so, after seeing a rash of back to back panel discussions, I am tempted to say, “NEVER put one panel discussion after another.”
Why? Because your audience deserves variety. A change of pace. Something different. And with so many different formats, is it really necessary to do TWO panels back to back? I don’t think so.
Let’s get a little creative. Have ONE amazing panel discussion and then do something else.
