I am often asked, “What is the best Q&A and polling platform to use during a panel discussion?” My go-to answer is “Whatever the event organizers are using.” What I mean by that is if the event organizers are using a specific platform, then stick with that platform. No need to confuse the attendees by introducing ANOTHER platform. Simply piggyback onto the platform – even if you don’t know how to use it, you can learn it.
That being said, when the event organizers have not chosen a platform or don’t intend to use one, my go-to, hands-down favorite is Slido. Yes, there is a free version for up to 100 participants, along with three polls and unlimited audience Q&A. Super easy to use and set up, it integrates with software suites such as Slack, Google Slides, and Vimeo, and it’s also compatible with most video conference and live streaming tools.
